“You cannot Change What You Will Not Confront.” T.D. Jakes.
I am an ardent contract bridge player, and am well on my way to becoming a world-class expert. My motivation to declutter and minimalize my apartment is fueled by my wish to entertain budding bridge players in my abode.
Being that I will be working almost exclusively from home when my voice over career flourishes, I would like to make my apartment pleasing to my own eye. Since clutter can be an impediment to creativity, I find it essential to rid myself of it to develop more creativity in many areas of my life, including at the bridge table, in my blog postings, and in developing marketing strategies to boost my voice over business.
This blog represents a diary of my genuine feelings moment by moment as I make the transformation from 12 years of disorganized clutter to owning the bare essentials to sustain life. I have come to learn that, for me, there is power in owning less.
May you find nuggets of inspiration to assist you in your life’s journey.
Keeping it easy and breezy,
The One Minute Minimalist
